Description

DASH is a Hong Kong-based company that aims to revolutionise digital and mobile interactions between consumers and merchants in the physical world. It focuses on the mobility and payment sectors. DASH is transforming Hong Kong's taxi industry by introducing innovative solutions that streamline the mass transport experience. The orffic is in Hong Kong, you can work in the office or work remotely. This is a full-time position, we have 3 headcount for it.

  • Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js (NestJS or Express). Optional: Experience with Python (UV/Poetry, FastAPI, Pydantic, redis-py) is a strong plus.
  • Frontend Development: Build responsive and modern UIs using React, Angular, or Vue.js, leveraging component libraries such as Material-UI or Bootstrap.
  • Database Management: Design, implement, and optimize databases using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. Work with ORM tools like TypeORM or Sequelize.
  • API Integration: Build and document RESTful APIs with Swagger/OpenAPI. Integrate third-party services, including payment gateways and financial APIs.
  • Monitoring: Set up real-time error tracking and performance monitoring with tools like Sentry, New Relic, or Datadog.
  • Deployment: Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure. Experience with Firebase is a plus.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure systems adhere to relevant standards (e.g., PCI-DSS), with strong data integrity and reconciliation workflows.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to build high-impact software solutions.
  • AI Integration: Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality. Optional: Familiarity with FastAI is a bonus.
  • Software Quality Assurance: Write and maintain unit tests, follow clean code practices, and contribute to maintainable architecture.

  • Monitoring: Familiar with observability and error tracking tools (Sentry, New Relic, Datadog).
  • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on with GCP, AWS, or Azure. Familiarity with Firebase and serverless architectures is advantageous.
  • Payments: Integration experience with Stripe, PayPal, or similar. Solid understanding of end-to-end payment processing.
  • Compliance: Awareness of financial compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS) and implementing reconciliation mechanisms.
  • Languages: Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript and python.
  • Containers & Orchestration: Preferred experience with Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a solid project portfolio across frontend and backend.
  • Deep expertise in backend technologies like Node.js, with bonus points for FastAPIΙ.
  • Strong frontend development skills with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Practical experience in database schema design and optimization.
  • Competence in building and integrating APIs, with well-documented endpoints.
  • Familiarity with deployment on major cloud services, along with observability practices.
  • Strong knowledge of payment integration and compliance in financial systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving ability, and team collaboration. Experience working in remote or distributed environments. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
