Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
  • Create and maintain test frameworks for web, mobile, API, and backend systems.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs.
  • Perform regression testing and analyze test results to report meaningful metrics.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Maintain and scale test environments.
  • Continuously improve automation test coverage, tools, and processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • [2–5+] years of experience in QA automation.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language used in automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, or RestAssured.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and tools such as Postman or Swagger.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
