The Maintenance Technician is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring all plant equipment and systems are properly maintained to support safe and efficient operations. This position requires strong electro-mechanical skills, troubleshooting ability, and the capability to work independently while maintaining high operational standards.
The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working 40+ hours per week, including weekends as required.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate plant repair tools safely and effectively
Follow and execute preventative maintenance programs
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Perform basic welding and cutting operations as needed
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Communicate process variables and equipment conditions to supervisors and team members
Support plant operations during peak production periods
Collaborate with plant employees at all levels to maintain operational excellence
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and EducationKnowledge of hydraulic control systems
Basic electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills
Experience with welding and cutting operations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and prints
Minimum 2+ years of electro-mechanical experience
Strong desire to continue developing technical skills
Ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
